O’Dua — The Foundation
// 01 — THE FOUNDATION

What we are.
And what we do.

The O’Dua Heritage Foundation is the global authority of the House of Oduduwa. Established at Ile-Ife in 2026 under the patronage of the Ooni as Arole Oodua. Tasked with codifying the Code, defending the truth, and unifying the family wherever it has been carried.

// AUTHORITY

One head, one house.

PATRON · HEAD

The Ooni of Ife

Arole Oodua · Heir of Oduduwa on Earth

The traditional ruler of Ile-Ife, sole bearer of the title Arole Oodua, and the spiritual head of the global Yoruba family. The Foundation operates under his patronage and answers, finally, to him.

CURRENT: HRH ADEYEYE ENITAN OGUNWUSI · OONI ADIMULA OJAJA II
SEAT

Ile-Ife

The cradle

The Foundation is seated at Ile-Ife, in present-day Osun State, Nigeria — the spiritual nucleus of the Yoruba civilization, continuously inhabited for over two millennia.

FOUNDED

MMXXVI

Anno Foundation 2026

Established in this year, in this generation, because the vacuum of authority over Yoruba truth has gone on long enough. The Foundation exists to fill that seat.

9 REGIONAL CHAPTERS · 43 COUNTRIES
// THE TEAMS

Six councils. One conscious agenda.

  1. T·01

    Council of Sages

    Adjudication · the Curia

    The senior body that resolves contradictions in oral history, hears disputes over canon, and issues the verdicts that are sealed into the Source of Truth. Composed of recognised scholars, traditional rulers, and senior babalawos, with the Ooni as Patron.

  2. T·02

    Truth Squad

    Historical & narrative compliance

    The team that monitors what is being said about the Yoruba in books, films, journals, and platforms. Issues the Foundation’s Seal of Authenticity to verified work, and the public flag on disinformation.

  3. T·03

    Defamation Monitor

    Reputation & image

    The ADL-style watch over the global Yoruba reputation. Tracks misuse of Omoluwabi, Orisha, and the names and symbols of the House. Demands retractions where they are due.

  4. T·04

    Standardisation Board

    Education & curriculum

    Maintains the Unified O’Dua Curriculum — what every Yoruba child, from Lagos to Bahia, should learn about the House and the Code. Certifies schools, community centres, and teaching programmes.

  5. T·05

    Economic Registry

    Commerce & livelihood

    The seal of quality for businesses owned and run by kindred who hold the Code. Maintains the cooperative network — the modern continuation of esusu — that funds the Foundation’s programmes.

  6. T·06

    Media Wing

    Broadcast & the conscious agenda

    Operates the Foundation’s YouTube channel, publications, and social presence. Pushes the Conscious Agenda outward in film, in conversation, in correction — until the noise of division is drowned out.
